I was determined to keep cabbage moths off my cabbages and kale. Also wanted to keep flea beetles off my eggplant. I made hoop enclosure for kale, and will use it for other brassicas in fall. I put cage around eggplant, and put netting over the cage. I'm using small pavers to hold fabric down. I will be able to use this netting over and over again. Worth the money!!!
When receiving the fabric,my first reaction was noting how heavy it was.This is being used as a protective cover for about 20 plants on a carport roof,which can not be supported with a framework.After installing,the plants seemed to hold up the netting okay.
This is much better than the previous stuff,that caught two birds,the day before it arrived,in the mail.

AGFabric insect netting from Gardenport
thank u 4 the opportunity to provide this review . .. this AG Fabric insect barrier fabric (IBF) from Gardenport is ideal for mitigating if not entirely eliminating the effect of insects on my garden. of particular concern has been the cabbage moth which, historically at least, has more or less decimated many greens (e.g., cabbage, broccoli, etc. - even arugula!). this IBF limits if not altogether eliminates that darned cabbage moth! plus, (a) i can water right thru it, (b) see thru it to assess progress, etc., and (c) it allows plenty of light thru for growth. it's worked for two seasons and still going strong (no appreciable photooxidation!). it's a winner!
I recently purchased the insect netting to protect the bok choy from brasica moths. The product is very durable, lets most of the light through, and the mesh is fine enough to keep out the insects and moths. I am very pleased with AG Fabric.
